It is probably twenty feet deep, and in his judgment, will be worth from seven hundred dollars to one thousand dollars per acre, if a market can be found for the same. That he has mined coal from said coal bed, and raised coal to the present time from said coal bed. Upon his knowledge and belief, he says that he does not know that the coal lying in said coal bed, which is one mile south-west of the coal bed on which he lives, is worth more or less than the coal lying on his land.
