I have tried the suggestion and it works for me. I have copied the 32x32 icons of the default file icons and changed their locations to the non default ones. I have copied the icon sizes and names to the default ones and changed their attributes. I have renamed the originals to make sure that the icons are not replaced by icontool. I have also made a batch script and tested it. It works for me and I believe, it should work for you.
I think I may have found a bug in the latest version of IconPackager. When I create a package using Action: Create. The icons continue to use the new locations no matter what folder the selected icons are in, as soon as I click Finish. So I have to relaunch IconPackager, and recreate the package.
after installing it i was uninstalling it from control panel . there was a problem after this activity . i started the app and there were lots of error i cant understand. i have tried to uninstall and reinstall but still there is some messages which are not understandable . plz help me how to fix this problem. i am using windows 8 . thank u in advance
Just installed the latest update. Anything under Documents gets replaced with the folder's own icon. All others, including desktop folder, just disappear. If I create a new package I created using Action New or Add new icon to package I get the same results. Pls fix this annoyance. I'd rather not completely uninstall the app as it's a perfectly useful tool and is the only app I can find that does This One Thing. But this annoyance is unacceptable.
